Art Advisory
We guide discerning collectors to works of lasting cultural significance — often before they enter broader recognition.
Begin a Conversation →JSP Art Advisory was founded on a simple premise: that the most meaningful collections are built through rigorous research, genuine aesthetic commitment, and the patience to acquire with conviction — not reaction.
We specialize in artists whose contributions have been historically underestimated by the market, and whose work holds enduring cultural resonance. Our clients collect with purpose.
Our practice grew from over a decade operating NOHO Modern Gallery in Los Angeles — where we developed the dealer relationships, market fluency, and curatorial eye that now serve our advisory clients.
What We Do
01
Identification, evaluation, and negotiation of works across emerging, mid-career, and historical categories. We advise only on works we would acquire ourselves.
02
Development of a long-term acquisition logic tailored to your aesthetic sensibility, budget, and intentions — whether for personal significance, legacy, or both.
03
Provenance research, authentication assessment, condition review, and market contextualization. We deliver the documentation and analysis that informed decisions require.

Case Study Access
Each case study documents the research process, acquisition rationale, and outcome in detail. We share them selectively with collectors whose interests align with our practice.
How We Work
Every advisory relationship begins with a serious conversation about what you already own, what you're drawn to, and what you want your collection to become.
Context — historical, cultural, biographical — is inseparable from our assessment of value. We do not rely on auction data alone.
Our track record is built on early conviction. We identify artists whose significance has not yet been fully reflected in institutional or market recognition — and act with patience and precision.
Negotiation, due diligence, documentation, shipping, installation — we manage every detail so your relationship with the work remains undistracted and meaningful.
Jeremy works with a select number of collectors at any given time.
